Bisexuality is actually misinterpreted as a kind of adultery or polyamory, and a favorite myth is the fact that bisexuals should always maintain relationships with both women and men simultaneously. Rather, people interested in both men and women, like individuals of other orientation, may live many different intimate lifestyles. Included in these are lifelong monogamy, serial monogamy, polyamory, polyfidelity, promiscuity, team intercourse, and celibacy. These may, or may not, all be of the same gender for those with more than one sexual partner.
