while the article mentioned snow was melting temp was in the 50’s,in those days there is no conditions route or social media marketing therefore we heard bout it at the time,my spouse chosen myself up after finishing up work and explained we have to go to the comissary for ingredients it actually was bumper to bumper carts in and out,my dad labeled as from Indiana and stated that is poor and proceeding your way,it going raining and was still minor in the evening,then the temperatures dropped easily freezing water,sleet,then the snow and the wind emerged,it had been therefore cold remained below 0 for just two weeks,Col Glen Hwy wasn’t available for 3 time after which it actually was like driving thru a tunnel,i’ll never forget the blizzard of 1978

I lived in the flats at the conclusion of Duncan Drive off Zink Rd close to the Col Glen Hwy. These were regarding the hilltop above Wright Patterson AFB.
